Transformation

I would like to share with you the Welcoming Introduction I have prepared for morning intensives.  Whether you are able to attend or not, I wish all of this for you and more.

"I honour the person you are. I honour the way of your being that has you enrol in a yoga intensive or that simply now, has you reading this prayer.  By being here now you are possibly opening to a process of transformation.

Transformation is about change. At the core of who we are is our true nature which does not change.  Our inner self is radiant and blissful, untouched by both life and death.

This workshop is about transformation of our outer shell: our identity, who we think we are, our personal preferences and characteristics. This outer shell is often referred to as our ego.

As we acknowledge our ego we can then let it soften its hold on us.

Using playful exploration we create new ways of being. Behaviours that are different to our usual self: like taking on a yoga pose, a new breath pattern, a hand mudra or a chant. Through this playful, curious environment we can see more clearly the vastness of our true nature.

How is that possible?

Because as we stretch, diminish and reshape our sense of ‘me’ and ‘not me’ the sense of ‘I’ no longer fully obscures our true self. Our true nature radiates its light through us rather than being eclipsed by us.

That radiance imbues us with clarity, freedom and joy.

Meditation - in all its forms - is the way to the inner-self.

As we let go of our attachment to our identity we are purified, our spirit is uplifted and a natural buoyancy and joy can be felt.

I wish you the most fun, the greatest insights
and for you to touch into the most sacred of places.
I invite you to be moved deeply by the light of the soul.

This is your time for an intimate and profound experience of Self.”
